Thirty years ago, Jim and Amelia Monk wanted to get away from their humdrum 9 to 5 jobs at a local furniture store and do something more rewarding.
Amelia always had a passion for her prized herb garden. She grew the finest herb plants and sold them at local farmer’s markets and through national magazines.
Whenever they hosted parties for friends and family, guests would always comment how much better their dips and cheeseballs tasted compared to the store bought, commercial kind.
That’s it! They thought this is the path we’ll pursue. Making great gourmet taste available to everyone who wants to serve the very best.
So with Amelia’s creative ability and Jim’s business expertise, Monks Meadow & Amelia’s was born.
Today, we still use only the finest quality herbs and spices, just like the ones Amelia grew. Now we make over 70 savory gourmet mixes for all to enjoy.
